Salisbury Police Warn Residents of Vehicle Break-ins

Bottle of whiskey, GPS, jump starter, iPod Touch and binoculars stolen from vehicles over the weekend in Salisbury Township, police said.

The Salisbury Township Police Department is warning residents of a rash of vehicles break-ins and thefts over the weekend.

The department received nine reports of vehicle break-ins where items were stolen. The areas of the break-ins were:

  • Tupelo Street
  • Buttonwood Street
  • South Pike Avenue

All but one of the vehicles were reported to have been left unlocked at the time of the incidents, police said. There were no damages reported to any of the vehicles.

Some items reported as stolen include a GPS system, speed pass, bottle of whiskey, jump starter, iPod Touch, binoculars and credit cards. 

Salisbury police are advising residents to lock their vehicles at all times and to be sure to remove all valuables.
