Woman Found Dead Had No Enemies, Family Says

The family of a young woman found dead in Lehigh County says she was excited about starting college.

The family of Kimberly Cardona - the 20-year-old Whitehall woman found dead in a wooded area of Salisbury Township last Thursday - says she was looking forward to starting classes at Lehigh Carbon Community College and that she didn't have any enemies, according to a Morning Call report.

near the Upper Saucon Township border. She had been beaten and stabbed.

On the afternoon of July 4, Cardona's family began expressing concern and asking where she was.

"We just really need to know if she is ok. She doesn't have to come home, all she needs to do is call her brother or me and let us know she's alright" was one of the posts pleading for information.

Cardona is being remembered as lovable and close to her family. She lived with her mother and siblings.

Cardona's family told the Morning Call that she didn't have a boyfriend, and that some of her past relationships had ended badly.
