Columbus Day: What's Open, What's Closed

Find out what's open and closed in the Salisbury area on Columbus Day.

In observance of Columbus Day, here is what's open and closed Monday, Oct. 8.

Salisbury Township municipal offices are open.

Schools: Salisbury Township School District, Arts Academy Charter School, Lehigh Christian Academy and The Swain School are closed today.

Allentown Public Library is open.

Lehigh County Courthouse is open.

Lehigh County Government offices are open

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation driver's license and photo centers are closed. (Online services are available. www.dmv.state.pa.us)

Pennsylvania Liquor stores are open.

Federal offices are closed.

State offices are closed

Post offices are closed, and there will be no regular mail pick up or delivery.

Retail: South Mall, Ross, The Bon-Ton, Stein Mart and most retail and entertainment establishments are open today.

Banks: Many, but not all, are closed.
