Environmental Advisory Council Meets Next Week

The township's Environmental Advisory Council is an extension of township staff to research environmental issues and advises the township manager and commissioners.

The Salisbury Township Environmental Advisory Council will meet next Wednesday, July 17 at 7 p.m., at the township building, located at 2900 South Pike Ave.

The meeting's notice was posted on the township's website, however, there was no agenda items posted. The meeting is open to the public.

The township’s Environmental Advisory Council is an extension of township staff to research environmental issues and advises the township manager and commissioners.

Accomplishments include publication of a township Natural Resource Inventory, and consideration for the township’s application to the Audubon Society for the status of Bird Town USA.

The council presented the township's first Earth Day celebration earlier this year at Lindberg Park.
