Haunted Barn Attraction in Jeopardy Over Ventilation

The hearing will likely determine whether the popular Devil's Folly Halloween attraction, located on Devonshire Road in Salisbury Township, will open this year.

The owner of the Devil's Folly Haunted Barn attraction, located at 3350 Devonshire Road, will appear before the Salisbury Building Code Board of Appeals later this month in an attempt to keep the popular seasonal attraction open.

Domonic Giles will have a hearing before the code board on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. in an attempt to garner a waiver for minimum ventilation requirements at the attraction.

A recent Morning Call article said Giles wasn't planning on opening during the 10 days surrounding Halloween because of rising costs.

According to the Devil's Folly website, the Haunted Barn attraction is set in 1863 during the Civil War.
