Last Chance: Public Hearing Tonight on Salisbury's Future

What do you want Salisbury Township to look like in 10 to 15 years? Residents are encouraged to attend a public hearing tonight on an update to the township's comprehensive plan.

The Salisbury Township Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing Thursday, July 26 on revisions to the township's

The plan, which was last updated in 1992, sets policies for preservation and development over the next 10 to 15 years. It addresses areas such as conservation, land use, development, housing, transportation, community facilities and services.

The public hearing begins at 7:45 p.m. at the 2900 S. Pike Ave.

The plan can be reviewed on the township website or at the township building, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Copies of all or portions of the plan will be made available at cost.
