Glenn Eckhart of Salisbury Township is a delegate, for the first time, to the Republican National Convention.

Editor's Note: Glenn Eckhart of Salisbury Township is one of three delegates from the 15th Congressional District at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, FLA. He is backing the Romney-Ryan ticket.

The 15th District also sent delegates Sen. Pat Browne and Allentown School Director Robert Smith. The three alternate delegates are Ellen Kern of Allentown, Chris Donatelli of Lower Macungie and Daryl Lehew of Dauphin County.

I am looking forward to go to the Convention because it is one thing in life I have yet to experience.

Note: As a result of redistricting, all of Easton and Nazareth, and Bethlehem, Fork and Palmer townships, and parts of Bethlehem and Upper Nazareth Township are in the 17th Congressional District.
