Tell us about 3 major challenges facing the school district and how you would address them. (Please be as specific as possible):

1) Unfunded Mandated requirements from the state - make public aware of restrictions and be sure our legislators are aware of impact to district.

2) PSERS and health benefit costs - again hopefully legislators realize impact to all districts and enact legislation to assist.  Continue to provide the best benefits for our staff while being financially aware of what our taxpayers and district can afford.

3) Charter/Cyber School Costs - the need for fairness of how formulas are calculated for districts and be sure the costs are appropriate.  Many of the challenges and costs involved can not be controlled by district.
