Michael Pochron and Linda Minger Will Face Off for District Judge Seat

Pochron wins GOP nomination, Minger wins Democrat nomination for magisterial district court 31-01-08.

and will oppose each other this fall for district judge in magisterial court 31-01-08, which serves Salisbury Township and Fountain Hill Borough.

Minger and Pochron are registered Democrats but cross filed as Democrats and Republican parties for the primary.

Pochron won the Republican nomination with 522 votes to Minger's 324, or by a margin of  62 percent to 38 percent, according to unofficial results reported by WFMZ.

Minger won the Democratic nomination with 547 votes to Pochron's  509, or by a margin of 52 percent to 48 percent, according to unofficial results.

Minger, 57, is the Salisbury Township Treasurer and has run twice for state representative in the 131st district.

Pochron, 56, a former Salisbury Township police officer, is the acting police chief at DeSales University.
