Rep. Joe Brennan Requests Probation for DUI

Rep. Joe Brennan was arrested in June on charges of driving under the influence.

State Rep. Joe Brennan, who was arrested on charges related to driving under the influence of alcohol, has applied for a first-time offenders program, according to The Morning Call.

after he had driven from Harrisburg and was heading to his district office in south Bethlehem.

The article said police found Brennan near his office after receiving tips that an, hit his head on a car and left in his own car.

After his arrest, Brennan issued a statement apologizing and acknowledging "a long and personal struggle with alcohol."

Brennan, 47, of Fountain Hill, represents the 133rd District, which includes parts of Salisbury Township.
