Salisbury Planners to Review Proposed Assisted Care Facility

Salisbury Township planners will consider an assisted living facility development and a request to subdivide a Lindberg Ave. location into seven single-family-home lots.

The Salisbury Township Planning Commission, at its scheduled Tuesday 7:30 p.m. meeting, will review proposed land development plans for an assisted living/memory care facility proposed at 2051 Bevin Drive.

The assisted living site is proposed to be constructed on 2.45 acres of vacant land along the corner of Bevin Drive and Regent Court.

The Planning Commission, at its May meeting, made a recommendation to the Salisbury Township Board of Commissioners to approve the preliminary plan.

However, several changes have been made to the plan, which require the approval of the planning commission.

Planners will also examine a proposed subdivision of 15.88 acres at 2602 Lindberg Ave.

The property currently has a single-family home and driveway, but the proposal asks for subdivision into seven single-family detached dwelling lots.
