5 Will Run for 4 Salisbury School Board Seats

All five candidates in Tuesday's Salisbury School Board primary will advance to the general election.

Four challengers and one incumbent will all advance to the Salisbury School Board general election, according to unofficial results.

The five candidates will compete for four seats.

Incumbent Mary Ziegler was the top vote-getter overall with 358 votes from Republicans and 281 from Democrats.

Challengers Robert Fischer (347 GOP, 255 Dem votes) and Audrey Frick (359 GOP, 261 Dem votes) will also appear on both the Republican and Democratic ballots in November.

Challenger Christopher Spedaliere (283 votes) will appear on the Republican ballot.

Challenger Chad Gleissl (236 votes) will appear on the Democratic ballot.

All candidates were cross filed except for Spedaliere, who ran only as a Republican.
