Winter Parking Restrictions Proposed on Some Salisbury Streets
Public invited to comment at April 14 board of commissioners meeting
Salisbury Township will be sending notices with maps to owners of properties on a proposed list of streets that could get restricted parking in winter.
Police Chief Allen Stiles and Public Works Director John Andreas have proposed winter parking restrictions on some narrow streets in the township that become impassable or difficult for emergency vehicles to navigate during heavy snowstorms. The narrow streets are congested with cars, which complicates snow removal and mobility.
Under the proposal, parking would be restricted to one side of the street. Affected property owners are invited to comment on the proposal at the April 14 board of commissioners meeting.
