Winter Weather Advisory in Effect Until 5 p.m.

Snow is expected to taper off by 4 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather alert in effect until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, just in time for the start of rush hour.

Forecasters say that the heaviest of snow has already fallen, and that the snow should begin tapering off around 4 p.m.

The forecast calls for between two and four inches of snow to fall Tuesday.

The forecast says that the rest of the week will be cold, but sunny, with highs reaching the upper 20s.  There's also a chance of rain/snow on Saturday.
