Learn more about ETAC at Northampton County Community College

Scientists from Northampton Community College's Emerging Technologies Applications Center (ETAC) are hard at work on a new mine pool geothermal feasibility study, thanks to a grant from the Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania to Noble Biomaterials, Inc. The study will test the suitability of anthracite mine water for geothermal manufacturing process heating and cooling for industrial use.

Scientists at ETAC help manufacturers of all sizes utilize technology to increase productivity, minimize environmental impact, and improve energy efficiency.
