Interviews for Salisbury Schools Superintendent Begin Today

After advertising nationwide for a superintendent to replace the late Robert Gross, the Salisbury Township School Board will begin the first round of interviews Aug. 9.

More than two months after the , the school board will begin the first round of candidate interviews Thursday, Aug. 9, according to board President Russell Giordano.

Seven candidates will be interviewed over three evenings, Giordano said. The first round is expected to be completed by Aug. 16, he said.

"Hopefully we will have a finalist by mid-September," Giordano said.

's three-month tenure as acting superintendent concludes at the end of September. She is scheduled to retire in October.
