NCC Offers Ice Fishing Class for Children

Children in grades 6 through 10 are eligible to participate in Northampton Community College ice fishing class.

 

Children in grades 6 through 10 can learn about and experience ice fishing at classes offered by Northampton Community College and taught by professional fisherman and guide Joe Pacholec. 

The classes will be held on Saturdays, Jan. 12, Jan. 26 and Feb. 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. An NCC van will take students from Hartzell Hall at the Main Campus to Lake Wallenpaupack.

The instructor will dig the holes and teach safety and tips. The fee is $129. Children should bring lunch and a snack. A hot dog and bottled water will be provided..

Registration is limited to 6 children. To register your children for this new course, call 1-877-543-0998 or go to Northampton.edu/lifelearn.
