Salisbury Student Named to National Tech Honor Society

Brandon Lightcap, a Salisbury High School junior who likes computer programming and games, was named to LCTI's National Technical Honor Society.

Accomplishment: This tech-savvy junior was named to Lehigh Career and Technical Institute's National Technical Honor Society.

Keys to Awesomeness: Passionate about computer programming and game development, 17-year-old Brandon Lightcap was named to LCTI's National Technical Honor Society. To be named to this society, a student must earn a grade of 90 percent or above in all classes taken. In addition, students must demonstrate “skill development, leadership, honesty, responsibility and good character," according to the society's national website. Lightcap, a web design/web programming major, said he was notified in class after the midmarking period of the first quarter that he was eligible for the honor society. He plans to start his own business in computer game programming.
