Salisbury High School to Kick Off Freddy Season with 'Curtains'

Salisbury students will stage 'Curtains' Nov. 8 through Nov. 10.

Salisbury High School will kick off Freddy season with its musical production, "Curtains" at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8.

Other performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10.

So far, 31 schools have indicated they plan to participate in the 2014 Freddy Program, the highest number of schools participating in its history, according to a release from the State Theatre.

The Freddy Awards program recognizes and rewards accomplishments in musical theatre in high schools in Lehigh and Northampton counties and Warren County, NJ.

The 2014 ceremony will be broadcast live on WFMZ Channel 69 and wfmz.com at 7 p.m. on May 22.
