Salisbury School Board Approves Coaches, Personnel Changes

The Salisbury Township School Board approved resignations and hiring of new personnel in the district.

approved the following personnel changes at its Jan. 18 meeting:

  • Deborah Jaleeh Afsah-Mohallatee resigned as a part-time learning support instructional assistant at Salisbury Middle School, effective retroactive to Jan. 11, 2011.
  • Michael Martrich, Emmaus, as a full-time long-term substitute teacher at Salisbury High School for English, effective retroactive to Sept. 6, 2011 for $57,070 for the remainder of the 2011-2012 school year. Replaces RJ Stangherlin, retired.
  • Christina Westfall, Hatfield, pending completion of requirements, as a full-time computer technician at the elementary level, effective retroactive to Jan. 16, 2012 for $20.79/hour. Replaces L. Brommer, retired.
  • LeeAnn Malesky, Allentown, transfer to Harry S. Truman Elementary School as a two hours/day part-time cafeteria helper, effective retroactive to Jan. 3, 2012 at $13.91/hour. Replaces V. Coverly, resigned.
  • Shelli Chavez, Allentown, as a two hours/day part-time cafeteria helper at Salisbury Middle School, effective retroactive to Jan. 2, 2012 at $12.52/hour. Replaces L. Malesky, cafeteria helper transferred buildings.

  • Schnecksville, as the head football coach for the 2012-2013 school term at the 2012-2013 contractual rate of pay for this position of $7,587.
  • Stacy Shapiro, Whitehall, as the tennis coach (spring) for the 2011-2012 school term as the 2011-2012 contractual rate of pay for this position of $2,840.
  • Bob Sopko, Allentown, as a volunteer baseball coach for the 2011-2012 school term without pay and/or benefits.
  • Steven Wagner, Allentown, as a volunteer baseball coach for the 2011-2012 school term without pay and/or benefits.
  • James Ernst, Allentown, as a volunteer baseball coach for the 2011-2012 school term without pay and/or benefits.
  • Michael Sickonic, Allentown, pending completion of requirements, as a volunteer baseball coach for the 2011-2012 school term without pay and/or benefits.
  • Victor DeOliveira, Allentown, as a volunteer girls soccer coach for the 2011-2012 school term without pay and/or benefits.
  • Kailey DeOliveira, Allentown, as a voluneteer girls soccer coach for the 2011-2012 school term without pay and/or benefits.
