"As we have done in the past in replacing superintendents, there will be a process," Beauchemin said in an e-mail to Patch. "The process involves selecting a person or entity who guides the search and interview process, forming a committee who will be involved in the search/interviews and implementing the interview process."

In the interim period between superintendents, Beauchemin said it may be necessary to name an "acting" superintendent until the school board completes the interview process and appoints a new superintendent. The school board might name an acting superintendent at its June 13 meeting, she said.
