St. Thomas More to Open After Labor Day
While some schools are beginning to open before Labor Day, St. Thomas More School says it will continue its practice of a post-Labor Day opening.

St. Thomas More School, which includes kindergarten through eighth grade, will open Sept. 4, Principal Carl Weber said in an e-mail sent Tuesday to parents.
Weber said the school's calendar would remain the same, despite changes in its township's public school district and neighboring East Penn School District. Parkland and Allentown school districts will continue to open after Labor Day. Students throughout the Lehigh Valley attend St. Thomas More School in Salisbury Township.

However, orientation nights for parents of students in second- through eighth grade will be held before Labor Day, Weber said. Orientation nights for new parents and parents of first-graders will be held after Labor Day. Specific dates will be given in early August, Weber said.
