TEDx To Return to Salisbury High School

Salisbury High School will host the second TEDx Salisbury High School event at Salisbury High School starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16. 

Described as “a thought-provoking and inspiring evening of student voices” on the theme Stages of Change, the event will bring together passionate young thinkers ready to share their ideas on communities and change.

Seating is limited. Interested attendees should contact rziegenfuss@stsd.org to request tickets.

Among those scheduled to appear at TEDx Salisbury High School are:

  • Leandra Roelker: Is Negative the new Positive?
  • Carolyn Boulay: Cracks in the Walls that Surround Us
  • Luke Chassard: The World Beneath: Resiliency
  • Sarah Kim: Smartphone Slaves
  • Collin Moyer: The Inspiration Conspiracy
  • Asia Letlow: The Medium is the Message

TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California almost 30 years ago, it has grown to support those ideas with multiple initiatives. TED speakers have included Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sir Richard Branson, Nandan Nilekani, Philippe Starck, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Isabel Allende and former UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
