Whiz Kids: Abigail Ludroff, Alan Mendez, Abigail Eichorn

Names: Abigail Ludroff, senior; Alan Mendez, sophomore; and Abigail Eichorn, junior
School: Salisbury High School
Accomplishment: These songbirds auditioned and earned a spot in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 10 Chorus Festival held January 13-15.
Keys to Awesomeness: As with many things, practice makes perfect. Ludroff, Mendez and Eichorn all take voice lessons and have been involved with school choral groups for many years. Eichorn said she has been singing since she was 3 years old and has been involved with musical theater since she was 6. Ludroff said working hard and doing what you love is the key to success. Mendez added that having an open mind also helps. In addition to earning a spot in District Chorus, Ludroff ranked fifth for a spot in Regional Chorus. Mendez ranked 13th and was recently told he earned a place in Regional Chorus as well.  Ludroff and Mendez will participate in the Regional Chorus Festival February 24-26.
