Iron Pigs Spring Training Starts March 12

The IronPigs 2013 spring schedule gets under way March 12 against Buffalo at the Carpenter Complex in Clearwater, Fla. Overall, the IronPigs will play 15 games this spring.

Seven of the 15 games will be played at the Carpenter Complex next to Brighthouse Field, the spring home of the Phillies. Admission to the minor league complex is free.

The IronPigs embark on their 2013 journey on Thursday, April 4, against the Syracuse Chiefs with a Fleece Blanket giveaway for the first 3,000 adults 18 and older. Opening night also features a bevy of other promotions including Ladies Night specials along with a pre-game Happy Hour from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. with live music and $2 domestic drink specials in the AT&T Plaza along with the popular Red Robin Oasis bar.

Single-game tickets for the 2013 season and the Gildan Triple-A National Championship game go on sale during the club's annual National Pig Day festivities at Coca-Cola Park on Saturday, March 2.
