Lead by senior pitcher Zach Harper's six-hit shutout, beat Towanda High School, 7-0 in the first round of the PIAA state baseball tournament Monday, June 6 at Easton High School's field.

Harper shut down the Black Knights' offense with his pitching while collecting three hits of his own for the Falcons. The game was a scoreless tie until the bottom of the fifth inning, when Salisbury scored three times in a two-out rally to take the lead. They added four more runs in the sixth as Towanda pitcher Mason Roof, in relief of starter Zach Place,  and the rest of the Black Knights' defense, unravelled.

Salisbury will move on to play the winner of Monday's game between Oley Valley and Esperanza High Schools, which was played at Muhlenberg High School.
