Salisbury Football Ready for Friday Night Matchup with Palmerton

The Salisbury High School football team, sporting a 1-1 record on the young season, prepares to host Palmerton Friday night at 7 p.m. in a Colonial League contest.

The Salisbury High School football team matched last year's win total with a victory over Bangor in Week 1 of the high school football season and will look to add another 'W' Friday night when Palmerton comes to town for a visit.

Kickoff time is 7 p.m. for the Colonial League football game on the artificial turf of Salisbury High School.

Patch visited football practice on Wednesday afternoon, talked to head coach Andy Cerco and watched as players prepared for Friday's night game in helmets, shoulder pads and shorts on a very hot mid-September afternoon.
