Summer Hoops: Salisbury Boys Play in Stellar Tourney

The Salisbury High School boys varsity and junior varsity teams will participate in the Stellar "Catch a Rising Star" Basketball Tournament this week.

Salisbury High School's boys varsity and junior varsity teams will participate in the Stellar "Catch a Rising Star" Basketball Showcase this week at Cedar Beach Park in Allentown.

The basketball tournament, featuring teams from around the East Coast as well as local entrants, is annually the largest high school affiliated tournament in the country.

Salisbury's varsity boys will kick off action in the double-elimination tournament with a 7:30 p.m. game Thursday evening against Delaware Valley of New Jersey.

Should Salisbury win that game, they will face the winner of the Parkland-Warwick matchup. A loss would put the Falcons in the loser's bracket.

A boys junior varsity tournament is also held and Salisbury's JV team takes on Liberty on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
