Swain School Open House

The Swain School in Salisbury Township will hold an open house March 3.

in Salisbury Township will hold an open house at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 3 for families interested in learning more about its college preparatory program for children in pre-school (age 3) through eighth grade.

 Head of School Todd Stansbery and current Swain families and staff will be available to give tours and provide information.

Visitors are also welcome to stop by the third graders’ Wax Museum of Famous Pennsylvanians – as a culmination of their year-long study of the state, each one chooses a person to represent in a museum setting.

Swain is a co-educational, independent school founded in 1929. It has an enrollment of 295 students who come from 22 area school districts. Small class sizes, an integrated curriculum, state-of-the-art technology resources, and a thorough program of character education, science, languages, arts and athletics are features of the school.

Tuition assistance is available to qualified families, as are specific scholarships (based on merit and/or financial need) for students newly enrolled in sixth through eighth grades.
