Book Van, Swain School Camp Signups Top Week Ahead

The Salisbury Playground Program, which run through July 27, is being visited every Friday by the Allentown Public Library Book Van. The van makes stops at Devonshire, Laubach, Green Acres and Lindberg playgrounds. Children are encouraged to have a library card to check out a book from the van, but it is not required. Children participating in the program will receive a food coupon for every book they report as read.

The Swain School is accepting signups this week for all of its summer sports camps and a creative writing camp. The complete registration form along with more information is available to view online at http://www.swain.org/summer.

The Allentown Library, located at 1210 W. Hamilton Street, will have a free screening of the move "Moulin Rouge," on Saturday at 1 p.m.

St. Thomas More Parish in Salisbury Township starts its vacation Bible School, called "Kingdom Rock, Where Kids Stand Strong for God." The vacation bible school runs from Monday through Friday. Call 610-437-3491 for information.
