Clothing Drive, Devil's Folly Hearing Top Week's Events

See 'Seussical,' at St. Thomas More Church and get information about a career in table games dealing.

The calendar says mid-August and before you know it, the kids will be back to school and the Labor Day weekend will be upon us. Still, even though these are the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer, there's a full docket of things you need to know this week in and around Salisbury Township:

  • The Salisbury Cheerleaders are holding a clothing drive at Salisbury High School from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Please drop all items off at the Salisbury High School Old gym entrance anytime during these two collection times. Please place all items in tightly tied plastic bags. All items can be bagged together except for shoes.
  • A casino table games training information session will be held at Fowler Family Southside Center, 511 E. Third Street, Bethlehem on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
  • St. Thomas More Church presents "Seussical," on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30. All proceeds benefit the Cay Galgon Center. Click here for ticket information.
  • The Salisbury School Board will meet Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the administration building, located at 1140 Salisbury Ave., Allentown.
  • Monday marks the first day of high school sports practice at Salisbury High School.
