This Week: Salisbury Parent Meeting and Swain New Parent Reception

We turn the calendar page into October already as some of leaves in the Lehigh Valley are already beginning to, nights have been on the cool side and fall is taking hold.

Here's what you need to know this week in and around Salisbury Township:

• A Salisbury Township School District Parent Meeting will take place Monday at 7 p.m. at the school's administration building, located at 1140 Salisbury Road in Allentown.

• The Swain School, located on N. 24th Street in Salisbury Township, will host a New Parent Welcome Reception on Wednesday at 6 p.m. 

• The Salisbury High School girls soccer team will host a night game Tuesday at 7 p.m.

• A Powder Puff football game will take place at Salisbury High School at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

• The Salisbury High School football team will host Saucon Valley in a Colonial League game on Friday. Kickoff is 7 p.m. It is also Family Fun Night at the game with family-oriented activities available.
