This Week: Sports Card & Collectibles Show at South Mall

Its Homecoming Week at Salisbury High School. Soccer Senior Nights will be held Monday and Wednesday with the Homecoming football game happening Friday night.

The second full week of October is expected to feature cooler temperatures than we've seen over the weekend, with a chance of some much-needed rain. 

Here's what you need to know this week in and around Salisbury Township:

  • The South Mall will host a Sports Card and Collectibles Show from Thursday through Sunday. You can visit exhibits by local and regional collectors of sports cards and related collectible items. Representatives from  SCG, Sports Card Guarantee, will be on site Saturday only, to authenticate cards.
  • The Devil's Folly Haunted Attraction, located at 3350 Devonshire Road in Salisbury will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine. Hours are from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Parking is available for the attraction at the Salisbury Middle School parking lot. 
  • It is Homecoming Week at Salisbury High School and the annual Homecoming football game will take place Friday as the Falcons host Palisades at 7 p.m.
  • The Salisbury girls varsity soccer team will celebrate Senior Night at its 7 p.m. game Monday at Salisbury High School.
  • The Salisbury boys varsity soccer team will celebrate Senior Night at its 7 p.m. game Wednesday at Salisbury High School.
  • The Salisbury High School Football Booster Club will meet Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the high school.
  • The Swain Association of the Swain School, located on S. 24th Street in Salisbury Township, will meet Tuesday at 8 p.m.
  • The Salisbury Township School Board will meet Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the school district building, located at 1140 Salisbury Road in Allentown.
  • The Salisbury Township Board of Commissioners will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. at the township building, located at 2900 S. Pike Ave. in Allentown.
