Sunday Best: Musikfest Fireworks and Parrotheads

Take in a youth baseball game, go to the Art Museum for free or visit the Lehigh Valley Zoo.

Sunday's National Weather Service forecast calls for sunny skies and a high temperature of 83 degrees. It's a perfect day to get outdoors and spend time with the family.

Here are some Sunday things to do in and around Salisbury Township:

  • If fireworks are your thing, you can head to the closing night of Musikfest in Bethlehem and see the display that's shot off Sand Island at 9:45 p.m. Sunday's Musikfest card is headed by Avenged Sevenfold at the Sands Steel Stage.
  • Jimmy and the Parrots entertain beginning at 8 p.m. Sunday in The Molten Lounge at Sands Bethlehem.
  • Salisbury Youth Association Baseball games will take place at noon at the Salisbury Middle School ball fields and the Western Salisbury Softball field.
  • The nearby Lehigh Valley Zoo in Schnecksville is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
  • Everybody loves free. The nearby Allentown Art Museum is free to all on Sunday. Hours are noon to 4 p.m.
  • Go see some gross stuff. "Grossology," is featured at the DaVinci Science Center in Allentown Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
