Democrat Dan McNeill won the 133rd House District race over Republican challenger Dave Molony. With 97 percent of the districts reporting, McNeill garnered 9,912 votes, or 62 percent, to Molony's 6,109 votes, or 38 percent. McNeill, a former union leader, Whitehall Township supervisor and executive, touted a record of passing five years of balanced budgets without a tax increase. As a former manager of regional partnerships for Lehigh County, McNeill worked with 25 municipalities to secure grants. In August, McNeill was picked to replace incumbent Rep.
