'The Hobbit’: Trailer, Show Times, Ticket Information

Before the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, there was another Unexpected Journey. Find showtimes and ticket information for "The Hobbit" at area theaters.

Before Frodo and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, there was another epic tale from Middle Earth. "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" opened today, and it's not too soon to figure out when you'll watch. According to IMDB.com, the movie follows the story of "a curious Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, (who) journeys to the Lonely Mountain with a vigorous group of Dwarves to reclaim a treasure stolen from them by the dragon Smaug." The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journal, official trailer The fantasy film based in a land of elves, wizards and hobbits started just after midnight. 'In Time' is Simple, Not Cerebral

This sci-fi thriller is entertaining - and that's about it.

The phrase “time is money” is a common one, uttered mechanically by corporate suits and moms alike.  It’s not super deep. It’s just a fact of life. For example, say I make $12 an hour, and I’m craving a ridiculous, Starbucks coffee with extra shots and soy milk. Price: $6. So essentially, those 12 ounces of high-calorie happiness will cost me 30 minutes of my working life. Is it worth it? This idea, that of time as currency, is the foundation for the new sci-fi thriller “In Time,” starring former boy-bander Justin Timberlake and Allentown darling Amanda Seyfried. With its fascinating premise and beloved actors, there were rumors that “In Time” could be this year’s “Inception.” Damn those rumors. Fans Flock to Midnight Showing Of Harry Potter's Final Installment

Fans lined up 90 minutes early outside AMC Tilghman 8 Theaters to see the end of the world-wide phenomenon.

For Harry Potter fans who sold out the AMC Tilghman 8 Theatres at midnight in South Whitehall, it was the end of an era. Anxious Harry Potter fans lined up outside the theaters an hour and a half before the 12:01 a.m. showing of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2."  “It’s kind of bittersweet," said Frank Finn, of Aston, as he waited in line before the start of the movie. "I mentioned on our car ride here that it’s kind of sad because we grew up with the Harry Potter series. We were pretty young when it started, and when the books came out, I was in elementary school.
