Bon-Ton Relaunches Rewards Program

Bon-Ton customers who buy $200 worth of merchandise with their store credit card now begin earning rewards.

The Bon-Ton—includings its store at South Mall—has revamped the "Your Rewards" loyalty program. The new program allows customers to begin earning rewards as soon as they spends $200 on their "Your Rewards" credit card at any of The Bon-Ton Stores' seven nameplates, including Bon-Ton, Boston Store, Bergner’s, Carson’s, Elder-Beerman, Herberger’s and Younkers or online. Anyone who currently has a Your Rewards credit card will be automatically enrolled. 4 Teens Accused of Stealing from Bon-Ton, Police Say

Four teens were stopped by Salisbury police as they reportedly left Bon-Ton with clothes they hadn't paid for.

Four teenagers face charges of retail theft after they admitted stealing running pants and socks from the Bon-Ton at South Mall, Salisbury police said.  About 3:10 p.m. Dec. 15, police responded to a report from the Bon-Ton loss prevention department that four boys were believed to be leaving the store with clothing they hadn't paid for.  Police officers met the four teens as they left the store and asked them if they had taken items, according to police. The boys allegedly admitted that they had and produced two pairs of running pants and several pairs of socks. Two of the boys were 13, one was 14 and another age 15. Salisbury Police: Bon-Ton Shoplifter Stuffed Clothing Down His Pants

The following information was provided by the Salisbury Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Salisbury Township Police said a man tried to shoplift several articles of clothing from The Bon-Ton at South Mall by stuffing them down his pants. Caprice Brown, 34, of an unknown address, was charged with retail theft, possession of marijuana and possession of an instrument of crime on Dec. 10, police said. Security at The Bon-Ton said they saw Brown enter a dressing room with multiple articles of clothing but emerge with one item, police said. Officers apprehended Brown as he left the store and he admitted he stuffed the items down his pants, police said. Police detected an odor of marijuana and found a small amount of what appeared to be marijuana and a pair of pliers that Brown allegedly used to cut the security tags off the clothing…

Two Charged with Stealing Clothes from Bon-Ton

The following information was supplied by Salisbury police.

  Two 18-year-old women have been charged with the theft of $254 in clothing from the Bon-Ton at the South Mall at 12:20 p.m. Nov. 18. Salisbury police said Samantha Soto, 18, of Bethlehem and Brittney Barrek, 18, of Allentown, have each been charged with conspiracy to commit retail theft and retail theft.  The pair removed tags from the clothes in a dressing room, police said.

Pedestrian Hit by LANTA Bus and Injured

A 74-year-old woman was struck by a LANTA bus on Nov. 14 in the parking lot of the South Mall, near the Bon-Ton.

  A 74-year-old woman was struck by a LANTA bus on Nov. 14 in the parking lot of the South Mall and injured, according to Salisbury police. Patricia Wirth was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest and treated for a concussion, scrapes and a head wound, police said. The accident, which happened at 11:25 a.m. near the Bon-Ton, is under investigation.  The bus driver's name was not disclosed.
