A district judge ruled Friday there is enough evidence to send Kimberly Cardona's alleged killer's case to Lehigh County Court.

The body of Kimberly Cardona, 20, of Whitehall, was found dumped in a wooded area in Salisbury Township; the Lehigh County Coroner's office has ruled her death a homicide.
Kimberly Cardona's last Facebook entry was by mobile phone on July 4, the day her family members say she went missing. The entry read:" HAppy 4th of July ♥...Goodnight and sweet dreams." Cardona, 20, of 836 Fernhill Lane, Whitehall, was found dead the next evening, her body dumped on a remote wooded area in the 2700 block of Lanze Lane in Salisbury Township. She died of blunt and sharp force trauma to the body, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's office, which has ruled her death a homicide. (Missed the Breaking News? David Bonaskiewich waited until the balmy evening turned cool so he could take his dogs for a walk last night along Lanze Lane in Salisbury. He set out around 8:15 p.m., his Jack Russell terrier pulling his leash in one direction, his beagle pulling in the other. That is, until the beagle stopped in his tracks and wouldn't move. The Lehigh County Coroner's office will conduct an autopsy later this morning to determine the cause and manner of death of a body found around 9 p.m. Thursday on Lanze Lane in Salisbury Township, a police department spokeswoman said. Salisbury Township Police are investigating the death, which they termed "suspicious." I met this girl the day (or 2) before, which is to really say, I sat at a table next to she and her friends sat at @ Rita's, Emmaus. "Nice" doesn't even begin to describe her.
