The 2013 Oscar ceremony is history but there's still buzz about what the stars wore on the red carpet and why. Allentown native Seyfried looked stunning in a pale appliqued dress by British designer Alexander McQueen. Reports now say Hathaway saw a photo of the gown Seyfried planned to wear and then changed her choice because the gowns were so similar. Hathaway said she was planning to wear a Valentino gown up until just three hours before the awards ceremony. Our polarized country could learn from 'Les Miserables.'
Les Misérables, the musical and now blockbuster movie, is a kind of Rorschach test. Some people see it primarily as a story of faith and redemption and others as a battle of good and evil in a class-driven society.
