A 19-year-old Pomeranian dog has gone missing in south Allentown
The owners of a 19-year-old Pomeranian dog as seeking help to find it, according to a post on Lehigh Valley Craigslist. The dog was last seen at Lincoln Drive and Wyoming Street. Anyone with information is asked to call 610-791-1024.
Ruby, a 10-year-old greyhound from Salisbury Township, has been repeatedly sighted in the Saucon Valley area. However, in spite of the efforts of her owners and volunteers, she remains missing.
UPDATE: The aerial search rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 16 has been postponed due to the weather forecast. It has been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 19 at 10am. Volunteers are still needed, and should plan to meet at Water Street Park (Hellertown) at 9:30am. For Facebook updates, like the "Ruby the Lost Greyhound" page. The public is invited to join a search party today, Saturday, Dec. 1 to look for Ruby, a missing female greyhound. Her family is frantic and misses her. The search party will meet at 10:30 a.m. at Laubach Park. Ruby has been missing since Nov. 13 and was last seen near E. Susquehanna Street and E. Emmaus Avenue in Salisbury Township. The family wrote on Facebook: Ruby is all white greyhound, with a grayish patch and a scar over one eye. She is shy, but very sweet, and friendly. Please come help if you can. A woman is looking for her lost female greyhound who was last seen Tuesday around Susquehanna Street and E. Emmaus Avenue in Salisbury.
The Salisbury Township Police Department issued the following: Lost female greyhound last seen around Susquehanna Street and Emmaus Avenue in Salisbury. She is white with brindle spots on her belly and face. She has a scar under her right eye and a half of a tail. She has numbers tattooed in her ear since she is a rescue greyhound. "She escaped at around 2 a.m. on 11/13/12. She would never hurt a fly and is extremely approachable, so please, if found, do not hesitate to approach her. She has no tags on her.
