Tammie Jesberger has retained the services of an attorney who specializes in helping victims of dog attacks. Thomas J. Newell, who has offices in the Lehigh Valley, has handled numerous cases throughout Pennsylvania involving pit bulls. Jesberger, her father, Bill Tittel, and their dog, Oreo, were attacked by a loose pit bull on Feb. 4 in their Pearl Avenue neighborhood. Jesberger and her father were bruised and battered and their 6-year-old cockapoo underwent four hours of emergency surgery after suffering a torn throat, puncture wounds and a broken jaw in the attack. Salisbury Township police shot and killed the pit bull after it lunged at them. Police, who have not released the name of the pit bull owner, are still investigating the …
