Santa will catch a ride Saturday on firetrucks throughout Salisbury Township neighborhoods where he will give out candy canes.

Santa Claus will be on the move Saturday, going from street to street in Salisbury Township by firetruck for the annual Santa Run.  Old Saint Nick will begin the tour at 9 a.m. in the Eastern section of the township, escorted by members of the Eastern Salisbury Fire Department. The Jolly Old Elf and his entourage will hand out candy canes to children, beginning around Broadway in the Fountain Hill section of Salisbury, according to firefighter Anthony Levan. Then they will make their way through neighborhoods heading toward the center of the township.
