$13K for Township Building Roof Repair

Commissioners opt for a smaller roof repair, as an entire new roof is not necessary right now.

Salisbury Township Commissioners recently voted to pay Alan Kunsman Roofing & Siding more than $13,000 to repair the leaking roof on the township municipal building.

The roof has been leaking for months and has caused damage in the foyer of the municipal building and in the doorway of the township meeting room.

The work entails removing a portion of the roof to repair the leak and installment of 730 square feet of roofing panels and decking at a cost of $11,725.

Additional sealing work costs $1,725, making the total project cost $13,450.

Commissioner James Brown said the roofers will make the repairs in a way that diverts the water safely away from the building.
